Whenever I run into my friend Verena (EOC of this great site), as I did at yesterday's Tory Burch Pre-Fall 2011 Press Preview, we get to chatting about our mutual love of truly spectacular burgers. (Really, we do talk about - or eat - burgers pretty much every time we see each other. I love her.)
I spent the afternoon getting holiday makeup tips from Taymour over at Paul Labrecque (more on that to come), and the purples and golds that he layered onto my lids inspired my wine-hued outfit for the evening's events (the Toys for Dogs Humane Society Benefit followed by a holiday party at 44 1/2).
Last night I headed out into the rain in one of my new favorite outfits, which you unfortunately can't see particularly well here...
Did you know that just twenty years ago, it was legal for banks to require women to have a male co-sign before offering a business loan?
So here's the thing: I do preppy really, really badly. In fact, I'd say I don't really "do" it at all. Which means that I generally don't do Tory Burch.
But the Spring 2011 collection? Oh mah goodness, I do I do I do.
