I spent the afternoon getting holiday makeup tips from Taymour over at Paul Labrecque (more on that to come), and the purples and golds that he layered onto my lids inspired my wine-hued outfit for the evening's events (the Toys for Dogs Humane Society Benefit followed by a holiday party at 44 1/2).
This week is a great time to get around to organizing your holiday tips, if you haven't already (but FYI, any time before New Year's is technically fine).

Q. Hi Jordan. What is a relatively cheap appetizer/finger food for me to make for a small party I'm having? I can handle most methods of cooking and prep, but I want to prep it then leave it.
I'm one of those people (isn't everyone?) who constantly sets down my drink at a party only to immediately forget which glass is mine, leaving me to wander around for awhile saying "Is that yours? Is that yours? Is that mine?" Which is annoying for all involved.
I first saw these gorgeous things at a friend’s party last Christmas. I’ve been making them ever since…and they are amazing. For holiday parties, sure - but they also work all year 'round!
