I used to pile on the makeup to try and tame my gigantic eyes, but I decided to really tone it down this summer by brushing on a sheer beige with a sheen. Just a teeny emphasis, and I'm finding that I'm really liking my "natural" beauty a lot more. It's nice to finally start to feel comfortable with a feature I've felt self-conscious about my whole life.

Hello, new obsession. I've written before about my fixation on lip emollients (when your lips are the size of mine, chappiness is no joke), and a couple of months ago I received a sample of ThreeSeedsNaturals Vanilla Peppermint balm in the mail. While in Aspen, I discovered the stuff meandering about in the bottom of my makeup bag...and lucky that I did, because it singlehandedly saved my delicate bouche during some seriously frosty days (holla, double entendre).
