Three things I love right now: nautical jewelry (like this Juicy Couture bracelet), opaque pink nails, and the African Marula Oil I made sure to leave space for in my luggage (I ordered the Neroli scent per your recommendation, and: yesssss).

If you haven’t checked out this Always #LikeAGirl ad yet (which you certainly might have, as it has 18 million views and counting)…you have to. It’s great.

I can’t imagine what this smells like. But I would really like to find out.

Apparently I’m 84% a New Yorker. I think I lost that 16% to the fact that I’m pretty nice when tourists ask me for directions and the fact that I would absolutely take a cab to Brooklyn. (Take the quiz yourself here.)

Lightweight and über cool and absolutely wonderful summertime pants.

Amazing blue cocktail ring? Check. Red lipstick? Check. Marshmallows? CHECK. My wrinkly hands and I are all ready for the fourth!

Love this for chic living room (or nursery) storage.

This article on the rash of infants who have died of hyperthermia after being accidentally left in cars is devastating – so much so that I’m still upset about it, a week after first reading it – but also a fascinating exploration of whether tragic mistakes like these are deserving of criminal prosecution. I vote no; while criminal negligence is a gray area, there is no punishment that can even come close to the loss of a child. My feeling is that punishment should be about either deterrence or retribution, and in this case neither of these are achieved.

On a less depressing note, here are some perfect nude leather sandals (for less than $100).

My friend Arielle and I were big fans of blue lipstick in high school. I’m not sure that this is a look I’m especially interested in revisiting, but if you’re curious, here’s how The Gloss thinks you should do it.
