When Kendrick and I finished decorating our tree, we still had tons of ornaments left to play with, so I decided to come up with some ways to incorporate them into the decor in other areas of our apartment.

The lightbulb in our bathroom (actually a water closet, as there’s nothing in it but a toilet) has a pull-cord, so I attached four Glitter Poinsettia ornaments (which come with helpful clips) to the cord. I’m pretty proud of myself for this idea, and am thinking about keeping it even after the holiday season ends.

WACKY KITCHEN GADGETS

It’s a coffee maker. No, it’s a griddle. No, it’s a toaster oven. Wait…it’s the 3-in-1 Breakfast Center!

I never met a multi-tasking gadget I didn’t like, even if it has to do with my least favorite activity (cooking). Lazy college students and housewives will unite over this efficient contraption, sure to make breakfasts as easy as 1-2-3. The 3-in-1 Breakfast Center even includes a timer with auto shut-off, so you don’t have to worry about burning that breakfast feast. This very versatile item could indeed replace the utility of those tiny Manhattan kitchenettes, so get it while it’s on sale at JC Penny for $49.99.
