Sad Puppy

“I do not like the cone of shame.”

Poor baby.

Sad as Virgil looks, I’m a firm believer in spaying/neutering pets…but it can certainly be expensive. We have pet insurance for both dogs, but without insurance the cost at our vet was over $900 – yikes. If you’re looking for more affordable options, check out the ASPCA’s website – you can search their Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Database, or get information on their Mobile Clinics, which provide free services to pet owners receiving public assistance (Medicare, Medicaid, Disability, Food Stamps, Public Housing, etc…although Unemployment doesn’t qualify).
