A couple of days ago, we were asked by Oxfam to host the green carpet arrivals for the premiere of The Age of Stupid, a film that takes place in the year 2055 and asks the question, “Why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?” The screening is part of Climate Week NYC and the Tck! Tck! Tck! campaign, which endorses a fair, ambitious, and binding international climate change treaty in Copenhagen in December.
Last night’s premiere went down in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest one-night screening of a film ever, screening simultaneously in more than 60 countries to more than 1 million viewers.
Above, I’m standing on the green carpet at the World Financial Center, enjoying the sunset and waiting for the event to start (guests arrived by rickshaw, bicycle, boat, etc…).
