Yesterday afternoon it rained. A lot. But I had a couple of events to attend that I’d really been looking forward to, so I threw on flip-flops (I prefer cold toes to wet sneakers), packed my heels into a tote, and ran all over town.
I blame the weather for my hair in this shot (with my buddy Mallory from Small Girls PR at the Katherine Kwei AW 2011 Preview).
At the preview, they had a crafting table – obviously the most fun thing ever. I actually made the bracelet pictured above (quite a bit harder than it looks – I had help).
Here are the instructions for that knot. If you can follow these unaided you are a better person than I, but the results are so pretty it’s worth a shot. All you need to finish it off are two alligator clips on the ends and a hook-and-eye clasp.
