OK. So Julia and Randi’s birthday party is this Friday, and…I’m having a little bit of a tough time figuring out what in the world I’m going to wear. I feel like I’m a bit too disheveled-looking to pull off “preppy”…and my closet isn’t exactly bursting with pink and white. Also, NonSociety is very generously taking me to San Fran for a few days starting on Saturday for Julia and Randi’s Party #2 and a bunch of meetings (nervous!), which means…I have to come up with two entire pink-and-white outfits.

Here’s the sum total of the even semi-appropriate items I have in my closet:

– A salmon-and-white striped Ralph Lauren button-down.

– A grey schoolgirl-type miniskirt that I wore as a Halloween costume when I was a senior in high school.

– Various white tanks (mostly of the ribbed undershirt variety) and a couple of white button-downs.

– White jeans.

– A pink satin minidress thing that only looks acceptable with some kind of wrap or cardigan.

– Pearls.

…Help?
