I just got home, and I am grumpy.

Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!
The pan-family jam sessions are proving to be a little too much for the next generation.

“Street” Style: Flowers In The Grass
Consider this a Street Style post, if the "street" was actually my aunt's backyard, and the "anonymous stylish person" was actually my cousin Haylie, who showed up to dinner looking so lovely and season-appropriate that I had to pull her onto the lawn for a few photos.

Easy Vanilla Pie
This dessert, which my aunt Jo-Anne served to us for dinner last night, is similar to Sex In A Pan...but even easier, if it's possible.
Sussex Flea Market
We spent all day yesterday wandering around the enormous Sussex Flea Market (a once-a-year extravaganza with some of the best product - and prices - I've ever seen at a flea market). Flea markets located hundreds of miles from your home can be a little frustrating, because that antique high chair or two-hundred-dollar, pristine-condition farmhouse kitchen table really just can't come home with you...but I made do with lots of other, smaller finds.
Remember the Berenstain Bears?! I loved them - I think I remember having one about a treehouse or something like that. In any case, big stack of books for the baby's library for $4? Yep!
Well, That Was A Blast
Remember that whole "unlucky traveler" theme?
It's baaaack!
Last night I flew to Canada for a few days to see my family, mostly because I likely won't be able to come back for several months and I wanted to spend some time with my grandmother, and I was sort of nervous about international travel because, you know...eight months pregnant. But I figured, "Eh, the flight's straight out of Newark and what, like, a little over an hour?" And my doctor said as long as I stayed hydrated, a flight that short was no big deal.
Ah, but did it end up being short? Not so much.
