:) I love my Instax camera (we don’t actually use it much because the film is so expensive, a little over a dollar per shot – but we took photos with it every once in awhile to commemorate the last pregnancy, and are doing it again).

:) Now this is a hot swimsuit.

:) Into right now: The Chic Wife’s brand-new site – Kris is such a fun, positive presence on the Internet, and I love her thoughts on everything from The Mean Internet to Having A Lot, But Not “Having It All” (co-sign, co-sign) to banana-pudding cupcakes (I, too, have lots of thoughts about banana-pudding cupcakes). Also, she has the cutest dogs I have ever seen in my life, and I mean that. They are gremlins.

:) This is such a gorgeous work-to-weekend blouse.

:) Months after everyone else in the world, I have developed the desire for a pair of Birkenstocks. These, specifically.

:) According to this article, the club scene is merging with…the Kombucha scene (pre-party meditation and raves stocked with electrolyte water as opposed to Ecstasy)? This is sort of cool and obviously a MUCH healthier alternative to traditional club culture…but…it’s so weird. And sounds like it would involve people talking about auras and vibrational congruence and other topics that I typically require a glass or six of wine in order to handle. I think I need to hear more about this from someone who has actually been to one of these things. (Has anyone actually been to one of these things?)

:) New sunglasses obsession: a pair that looks like they would have belonged to my fifth-grade history teacher.

:) Wait, so: everyone who asked me where to find a more affordable version of my X ring?! Totally found an even better version than the versions I posted about before. It is this, it is so cute, and it is $28.

:) It’s the 15-year anniversary of Speed, which makes me feel nice and ancient. This article, about what making the movie was like from the POV of “the other passengers on Bus 2525,” is such a neat read.

:) Two hundred and fifty new Emojis are coming our way in July. This is obviously exciting, mostly because one of them is a middle finger.

:) Looking for classic, go-with-everything (and very affordable) flat leather sandals for this summer? Try these.

:) New eyeliner shapes to swap in for your standby cat-eye liquid liner (ooh, so much yes on so many of these).

:) A ring…that notifies you when you get a text/receive an email/have a meeting in five minutes, so you can put down your phone for a goddamn second and actually enjoy your dinner like a human being (albeit one who has a bejeweled technology-leash sitting on their finger)? So very Total Recall, and so much something I think I might need. Except…is this too bizarre to deal with? Does it work? Can they please come up with a slightly less boring style, or is that asking too much when I am already getting A RING THAT NOTIFIES ME ABOUT EMAILS? So many questions.
