All about peony pink this spring (pictured above is a T.J. Maxx blazer that I paired with T.J. Maxx sunglasses, an Ann Taylor tank, a Swati Jr* necklace and a tote c/o Alexandra Satine for yesterday’s meetings in the city).

Speaking of pink…next week I’m wearing one of my favorite-ever dresses for a shoot with Elle. (I love it so much I just picked up a second version in neon yellow to wear to our friends’ upcoming wedding).

Spending a weekend at a friend or family member’s place and in search of a nicer-than-your-average-candle hostess gift? Try these rope servers.

Love these simple (but not too simple) gold hoops from Melinda Maria.

Best baby-boy shorts ever? (The elastic knit waistband is key.)

I finally gave in and made an appointment with a sleep specialist. His diagnosis? Chronic insomnia. Great. Next stop: a CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy; basically changing your thoughts in order to change your behaviors) specialist. And ZzzQuil (which I have to say is quite fantastic). If you’re an iffy sleeper as well, click here for my makeup trick for waking up tired eyes.

Favorite looks from the Met Ball: Gwen Stefani, Carla DeLevigne, and Olivia Wilde (who wasn’t really punk…but gets a pass because of those abs).

In two weeks, I’ll be in Vegas to co-host and emcee an event with Camila Alves. Vegaaaaassss! Oh yes, and Francesca is meeting me there so we can do a girls’ night after the event wraps up. Oh my goodness.

I would like to try my hand at making mussels in white wine and garlic myself, but am intimidated by the whole concept. …It’s easy, right? Any tips?
