Gift Ideas: Stocking Stuffers

When I was little (and…ok, even now) the stocking was my absolute favorite part of Christmas. All the good stuff was in the stocking. And I got to open it right when I woke up, so that was awesome, too (and smart on my parents’ part, because they always included chocolate and an Archie comic or five to keep me occupied until they were good and ready to greet the day).

Some ideas for your holiday stocking stuffing:

1. Simple Skincare Cleansing Facial Wipes and Revitalizing Eye Roll-On. You know I love the cleansing wipes (they’re so great for travel), but the eye roller is another great find: it cools the undereye area with cucumber extract while massaging away puffiness, and is safe for sensitive eyes (like mine) and contact lens-wearers.

2. Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow Nail Polish. For New Year’s Eve. Or, if you’re really into wearing 24K gold dust on your nails, everyday.

3. Wall-Mounted Bottle Opener. Every bar (or kitchen…or apartment) needs a wall-mounted bottle opener, no? And I especially love this classic, sturdy (and affordable) version from World Market.

4. Elizabeth Arden Liquid Eyeliner. It’s one of the best formulas I’ve found (and this is coming from a major liquid liner addict), and a total makeup bag essential.

5. Pink Himalayan Salt. This salt is pretty, but it’s also delicious: I keep an enormous jar of pink Himalayan salt right on my kitchen counter and use it to finish everything from salads to steaks.

6. Jonathan Adler Studded Small Frame. From the eBay Holiday Collective (a collection of designer items sold exclusively on eBay), this frame is chic, classic, and tiny enough to fit neatly into a stocking.

7. Vaseline. Why? Because it’s a miracle product with endless uses, and you can never have too many jars handy.

8. Jayson Home Horseshoe. Who couldn’t use a little extra luck in the New Year?
