This is our laundry room:
I’m completely over-the-moon in love with it for the sole reason that it’s a laundry room, and a laundry room is an almost unthinkable luxury to someone who grew up in NYC.
Style-wise, it’s totally fine (if kind of boring), but you know what? This is exactly the kind of room where I think it would be fun to have a little…fun.
Why not, right?
Like an entryway, a laundry room is a small area where you don’t spend a ton of time, and infusing it with some personal style would transform it into a surprisingly cool little space. And I’m all about putting as many surprisingly cool little spaces into a house as possible.
I was thinking mint green (pictured above: Valspar’s Garden Sprout; click here for more info on Valspar’s Love Your Color Guarantee) with black-and-white accents, but I’m open to suggestion.
