Five Hat Hairstyles

More info after the jump.

Down & Straight

Part straightened hair down center. Apply product to ends to break up hair.

Beachy Curls

Using a 1 1/2″ iron, curl irregular pieces of hair 3/4 of the way up the hair shaft. Twist the iron in different directions to create a tousled, imperfect look. Apply shine spray.

Low, Messy Braids

Divide hair into two sections down the back. Divide the first half into three sections and loosely braid about an inch of hair, allowing pieces to fall out and be messy. To secure, pull the elastic down the length of the hair to create a “twine” look.

Side Bun

Leaving out a large tendril on one side, pull the rest of your hair into a low ponytail on the other side. Don’t pull all the hair entirely through the last loop of the ponytail; that’ll create a bun. You can allow some ends to fall out for an even looser look.

“The Tuck”

Gather hair into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic. Twist hair in one direction, and then bring the twisted ponytail to the top of your head and secure with a bobby-pin (or two, depending on how thick your hair is). Pull down a couple of tendrils on the sides.
