Chocolate-Covered Salted Strawberries

So I spotted these on Tumblr the other day…and knew I had to make them immediately.

We all know that chocolate + strawberries = good, but the salt (I used a mild, coarse pink salt called Murray River) takes them up to the eye-rollingly, growlingly, must-eat-them-all-in-one-go level of deliciousness.

Just wash strawberries (be sure to dry them thoroughly, as wet strawberries won’t take to the chocolate), melt chocolate bits in the microwave in 30-second increments until smooth, dip your berries, and sprinkle over a little coarse sea salt. Set on wax paper in the refrigerator until chocolate is hardened, and serve the same day.
