Cath Kidston / Looking Toward Spring (Already)

New Year, New Duvet Cover. Or at least that’s what I’d like to see happen.

I have two (one white and one pale green), but both have seen better days, especially since Lucy sleeps at the foot of the bed and enjoys a nice early-morning dig.

A few years ago I stumbled upon Cath Kidston Regal Rose Bath Towels in a random shop in LA and had to buy them immediately. Since then, I’ve occasionally browsed the website and fantasized about an all-white apartment filled with flowery details. While I would never subject Kendrick to this bedspread (although I sort of adore it, it’s pretty aggressively girly), I think that the Spot Duvet Cover pictured above (on sale for $50) is a great compromise.

Dove grey with polka dots: calming, neutral, just a touch feminine, and easy to match with existing decor.

More great Cath Kidston finds (all of which would make adorable gifts!):

Clockwise from top leftProvence Rose Cup & Saucer ($10); Bluebell Hand Cream ($14); Cherry Washing-Up Gloves ($10); Spray Flowers Tea Pot ($26); Pressed Glass Jug ($20); Spray Flowers Dog Bed ($46).
