A drop-dead pair of enormous crystal earrings (I wore them out later to the Urban Arts event at Trump SoHo and got tons and tons of compliments) and a sparkly necklace (yeah, that's just one piece) that I've had my eye on for months now.

StyleFind / New Procrastination Tool
On Friday, I had the honor of being one of ten bloggers invited to a gorgeous, chocolate-covered-strawberry-inclusive lunch at the Time & Life building to celebrate the launch of StyleFind, an online shopping site brought to you by the publishers of InStyle...
Perfect Perfect Perfect Holiday Dress
I want this Jay Godfrey silk jersey dress very, very (very) badly. Very badly. I saw it in the window of an Intermix on Thursday, and I wanted it then, and I still want it now. Which means I need to come up with an excuse to buy it in the form of fabulous New Year's Eve plans. Hm.
Try This Tuesday / Happy Cuticles
I have dry skin all year 'round, but starting right about now it gets really, really armadillo-ish. Of course my lips bear the brunt of the seasonal attack, so I stash pots and tubes and sticks of balm in all of my purses, in the bathroom, by the bed...everywhere.
What I’m Up To Tomorrow Night…

...Lilly serves up a super-simple (and universally adored) Christmas cookie recipe.

The Perfect Holiday Cookies
By Lilly
This is the recipe I use every year as a staple for pretty much every holiday cookie. They are the perfect butter cookie for Italian wedding cookies, frosted sugar cookies, spritzes…you name it. Every person who eats these asks whose recipe it is. I wish I could take credit (usually my recipes are my own) but they’re from The America’s Test Kitchen Family Cookbook. Tonight I baked up a batch with my son for his school…they don’t celebrate secular holidays, so we stayed neutral by making iced bears, squirrels and porcupines for his preschool class.
*My son cannot have milk so we substitute all dairy with hemp or almond milk and soy butter and the recipe works just as well!

Surprise Hanukkah Present / Jadeite + Salt!
Look what Kendrick gave me last night for Hanukkah! It's a tiny (about 1" across) Jadeite salt dish, and obviously I love it to pieces.
Comfort Food & Christmas Trees
The original plan this weekend was to throw a party, but it turned into a comfort-and-Christmas-tree extravaganza instead.
