The Frying Pan

I have never been to The Frying Pan before (yeah, I know…late to the party), but I will most definitely be back. Last night, Paige (pictured above right with Anna and me), Kendrick and I headed over to Pier 66 for Justin Rocket’s bday, and I totally fell in love. It’s a bar…and a restaurant…on a BOAT. A lightship, actually, and one that spent three years at the bottom of the Chesapeake Bay, to boot. There’s also a tiki bar, better food than there has to be (lobster, mussels, burgers, etc), and one hell of a view.

L to R: The barnacle-y wheel house; Believe it or not, I sometimes get tired of taking photos; Kendrick escorts his inappropriately high heel-clad lady down a catwalk.

P.S. Paige, who works in fashion PR and production, is staying with us this week while she takes meetings and – yayayay! – looks for an apartment in NYC. I am desperately hoping that this move happens – Paige and Paige-related things make me very, very happy – so if any of you know of a great place opening up in August or September, shoot me an email at jordan@ramshackleglam.com!

Kendrick’s vintage vest, David Lerner tank, Forever 21 shorts, Kooba purse, Tuleste Market & handmade bangles.
