Where To Stay In Ogunquit

Indulge me for one more post and we’ll move on…promise. (Can you tell I love this town?)

The Pink Blossoms. My family stayed here nearly every summer when I was a little girl. Around age six, I even had a torrid romance with the owner’s son, Travis (he told me he loved me like I was his sister; I ran away). The place is sweet and simple, with a nice-sized heated pool, a BBQ, tennis courts, and a white swing built for two. Highly, highly recommended (and many suites have eat-in kitchens, which is a great touch).

The Beachmere (pictured above). My #1 pick for Best Lodgings in Ogunquit, this is where we stayed during the weekend we got married (see how I slipped that right in there?! I’m sneaky that way). It just doesn’t get any more New England-lovely than this: sloping green lawns, an impossibly pretty view…and turrets. Turrets!

Terrace by the Sea. Where Kendrick and I stayed this past weekend; a bit on the small side, but the (already fairly reasonable) price includes an unbeatable location steps away from the beach and a delicious a la carte breakfast.
