On Saturday afternoon, I traipsed two whole blocks over to Flex Mussels, where genius pastry chef Zac Young (formerly of Butter) taught me how to make a sort of deconstructed lemon meringue pie in a glass.

My husband and father both have a little habit of destroying their phones by getting them wet, but it seems there's a way to fix soggy cells! Just dry off all visible droplets, remove the battery, and place both battery and phone in a bowl of uncooked rice overnight: the rice will absorb the moisture, hopefully restoring things to working order.
