I think that pets should be adopted from rescue shelters whenever possible (or at the very least purchased from reputable breeders), but this little guy, who we discovered at a country & western store/pet shop in Berlin (yes, I know) very nearly came home with us. He snuggled right into my arms, wagged his tail like a maniac, and even gave me a kiss on the cheek, which melted my heart into a puddle.
