These chandeliers, from Michael McHale Designs, hang in the window of a store, Studio Mix, that I pass by nearly every day, and I am completely and utterly obsessed with them. (I’m actually obsessed with pretty much everything that the store sells, but the chandeliers most of all.) From what I can tell, it’s a relatively simple design – just pipes and crystal trim – but I think it blends utilitarian chic with decadent glamour in such a unique, striking way. I must own one, whether by scrounging up the funds to actually purchase one or by making one myself. Kendrick and I have discussed, and we think we might actually be able to pull this one off.
